    Artimus Robotics recently signed a new lease at 2985 Sterling Court, Boulder, CO; a building leased and managed by WW Reynolds and owned by Ivy Realty out of Connecticut. Artimus Robotics chose Boulder for its location due to its proximity to the fantastic technology and startup ecosystem. We have benefited immensely from our Boulder affiliations (the University of Colorado at Boulder, the Small Business Development Center, and the countless mentors and advisors in the area). There is no question that Boulder is the place to be for us to lay down our roots and grow. In addition, the nearby access to the beautiful mountains and outdoor lifestyle is an important part of our company culture, as well as being a great driver for encouraging our customers and investors to visit us!   • Learnings from the Lab Venture Challenge

    Overview As an awardee of the Lab Venture Challenge (LVC) grant, we wanted to share what we learned about our technology performance metrics and fabrication process. LVC enabled us to build, test, and validate a mid-scale fabrication process for HASEL actuators, enable testing of key performance criteria, and build development kits to evaluate market fit.   • Seed Round Funding for Artimus Robotics

    On August 12, 2020, Artimus Robotics announced the closing of their series seed investment round from Heroic Ventures and Hunt Technology Ventures. This investment, combined with Artimus’ extensive non-dilutive grant funding from the NSF and CO OEDIT, provides Artimus with capital for continued development as they leverage their HASEL actuation technology to address motion challenges facing the industrial automation, defense, and manufacturing industries. Heroic Ventures Managing Partner and Founder, Matt Robinson, will assume a board seat, providing operational and business expertise to help Artimus deepen business relationships with their current commercial partners while also building relationships with new customers.
